I live in Durham City, a place that Roger Whittaker sang about wanting to leave.

I have been a Registered Nurse for more years than I care to remember.

Tattoo enthusiast (eleven and counting).

Single, either because I’m too picky or too fugly. Possibly both.

I have had bipolar disorder since childhood. This does not make me an axe-murderer. In fact I am a fully functioning nutter. I have 3 prolapsed lumbar discs which require me to sit bolt upright quite frequently. This means I can fanny about on the internet for long periods.

I have a 15 year old cat called Samson who likes weird food, such as beef hula hoops, strawberry yoghurt, chicken tikka and peas (not all in the same bowl). He won’t let me get a dog, the little shit. Apparently dogs have owners, cats have slaves.

Music is the love of my life. I was a classically trained violinist when I was younger, but then I discovered boys. Now I just listen to music. Slightly (!) obsessed with the Strokes.

And there you have it. I feel like I’ve bared my soul.

I've never done a blog before, so I'm just going to post stuff I find interesting/amusing and intermittently write stuff about erm...stuff.
